4th of July

Post by zataks »

For US dads, what're you doing for 4th of July next week?

Wife is working but I'll be off so hoping to take the kids out onto the river then maybe make some pizza or burgers or something tasty but simple. No fireworks for us, although I think I still have a pack of those snappers you throw at the ground, the kiddos enjoy those.

Anybody else?

My son is so fresh I don't think we'll be doing anything, but who knows. It might be good to go for a drive or go see some fireworks.

I loathed the fourth when my kids were that little. Seems like I'd just get them down and fireworks would be blasting off everywhere.

We did the whole barbecue thing with family and friends, but we can home early and cranked that white noise up. I had work the next morning anyway.
